There’s always one who takes the Christmas decorating a little further than everyone else. In our Christmas Gonks: Hanging About design, that apparently means leaving the ground altogether. One adventurous gonk hangs from the lights while two companions remain seated below—providing moral support, presumably.

Warm glowing bulbs stretch across the scene above three white-bearded characters in softly shaded red and grey outfits. Their spotted hats, bobbles and little boots give each one plenty of personality, from the determined overhead helper to the seated pair keeping a much more sensible distance from proceedings. It’s festive teamwork, with a distinctly uneven division of labour.
